Caribbean influences are so strong in Florida, the new term Floribbean was created by combining the beginning of Florida, Flor with the end of Caribbean, ibbean, Floribbean. Flo is what everyone calls her now but her Mother named her Florida at birth. How To Get There
Flo’s is located on the west side of Tamiami Trail, 1 ½ miles south of Stickney Pt. Rd. (the south entrance for Siesta Key) and 1.1 miles north of the Westfield Square Mall (formerly Sarasota Square Mall) if coming from the South. An easy landmark to look for is the very large blue and white sign for Land of Sleep (a mattress store). We share their entrance drive so turn right into the drive if coming from the North or turn left from the left turn lane into the drive if coming from the South. You will see Flo’s , set back and on the left as you come in. You will be most welcome! |
