FLORIBBEAN FLO’S Where did the name originate? Caribbean influences are so strong in Florida, the new term Floribbean was created by combining the beginning of Florida, Flor with the end of Caribbean, ibbean, Floribbean. And Flo is what everyone calls her now but her Mother named her Florida at birth and shortened it later.
Flo says her shop “is all about Florida!” The gift emporium and tropical bakery reflect the Florida lifestyle in every corner, on every shelf, in every flavor. Colorful straw hats and garlands of miniature lemons and limes punctuate the eclectic collection of stylish apparel (See Flo’s Favorite Footwear in the Flo’s Page Section of this website by clicking here), unusual gift items, casual tableware and gourmet Florida foodstuffs offered for sale here. Fine, hand made chocolate truffles are crafted by our Sweet Shop and are among the finest made anywhere.

Flo’s bakery offering of pies, cookies and sweet breads incorporates such tropical fruits as Key Lime, Passion Fruit, Pineapple as well as Coconut, Bananas and Florida Citrus. The cookies are extremely popular as gifts and ship very well so they are sold online in the Tropical Bakery Section of this site.
